At Olympic Sports and Spine Rehabilitation you have the option of seeing a physical therapist without a physician’s referral or prescription. However, you should be aware that most insurance plans will not pay for therapy without a written physical therapy referral. To receive a written referral please contact your medical provider, such as you physician, chiropractor, naturopath, podiatrist or registered nurse practitioner.
Most insurance companies will usually accept physical therapy referrals from:
- Physicians - MD or DO
- Naturopaths - ND
- Chiropractors - DC
- Physician Assistants - PA-C
- Podiatrists - DPM
- Nurse Practitioners - LNP
Please be aware that your insurance plan may require a deductible and or co-payment due at time of service per visit.
As a courtesy to you, we will bill your Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage if your injury is due to a motor vehicle accident (MVA).
If you DO NOT have insurance please contact our billing office for information about our Private Pay Policy (253-581-5200).
