Shannon Zook MPT, COMT, OCS, CSCS, FAAOMPTDirector, Spanaway Clinic
Shannon graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2002 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and began working for Olympic Sports & Spine Rehabilitation following his final academic clinical internship which he had completed here at OSSR. Since graduating, Shannon has pursued his interest in manual therapy by entering a fellowship with the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). He has completed his fellowship and has been credentialed as a certified orthopedic manual physical therapist (COMT) with NAIOMT. He also became credentialed as an orthopedic certified specialist (OCS) in March of 2006. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 2002. Shannon has professional interests in vestibular problems and addressing issues related to balance. Shannon is awaiting approval of his recently submitted fellowship project to apply to the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Shannon enjoys snowboarding working out, and reading at Starbucks, although he finds the majority of his time spent remodeling his home. He enjoys and continues to look forward to meeting the physical needs of the community around him to help them reach their functional goals. |
