Michael Tollan PT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPTChief Executive Officer, Owner
Michael received his physical therapy degree from the University of Puget Sound in 1985. He is Board Certified in Orthopedics with a clinical expertise in spinal care. Michael is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist having completed a four year residency in advanced orthopedics. Michael has also met the requirements for Fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Michael is certified to perform physical capacities exams and onsite ergonomic analyses. Michael serves as faculty at the University of Puget Sound School of Physical Therapy and Rocky Mountain University. Michael has co-authored and been published in the areas of industrial rehabilitation, fibromyalgia, and treatment for cervical and lumbar instabilities. Michael has presented numerous continuing education courses on spine and extremity orthopedics. He was a guest speaker at the International Conference on Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue and Related Disorders. He teaches a specialty course on differential diagnosis to doctoral students at Rocky Mountain University and teaches introductory manual therapy to doctoral students at the University of Puget Sound. Michael currently serves as a Certified Residency Instructor for the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and the clinical site of OSSR Puyallup is an accredited residency site. Michael is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy, The Occupational Injury Prevention Rehabilitation Society, The American Academy of Sports Medicine, and the Washington Orthopedic Special Interest Group. |
